How wellconnected is introducing the social care industry to networked enterprise software

In New York, health insurance plan Independent Health uses wellconnected’s ‘allco’ platform to do health checks on members and, when necessary, make referrals to community-based organizations.

In New Jersey, Monmouth County adopted allco as the case management and referral platform for its nonprofit partners, creating a digitally connected social care network.

And in West Virginia, allco is being integrated into the statewide 211 system, which is expected to drive adoption of the platform throughout the state.

These are a few early examples of how wellconnected is introducing networked enterprise software to the social care industry, a multi-billion dollar vertical that breaks down into thousands of disconnected regional networks throughout the U.S.

When we say “networked,” we mean that our robust suite of tools (case management, customizable intake forms, referral networks, strategic analytics, reporting) is designed to create collaborative relationships between stakeholders in social care. That spectrum includes funders such as foundations, governments and health plans; nonprofit CBOs that deliver the care; and people that receive the care.

And when we say “enterprise software,” we mean that wellconnected is more than the sum of its parts. It is poised to replace the current industry standard – mostly pen-and-paper and spreadsheets – with a new paradigm that introduces data standardization and, most importantly, features high-quality modules that enable collaboration, efficiency and transparency for all stakeholders within the system.

This has been the vision as far back as 2019, when wellconnected CEO Duane Conners scrawled a sketch of a scalable system for social care on poster board. That sketch is still taped to the wall of the firm’s headquarters, where a core team of early wellconnected employees rolled up their sleeves and worked hand-in-hand with stakeholders in social care to build intuitive modules that make their lives easier.
