Create and send a referral for a community member to direct them towards support.

Sending a referral is notifying the receiving organization that a member in their community is looking for support that they may be able to assist with.
Open the Community Member’s profile
Select Add in the referrals box
If you would like to conduct a keyword search, enter a keyword like food and the results will show organizations, programs and services that match to food. If you want to find a location that services a specific identified need, toggle search type to Need.
Apply filters to refine your results (optional)
Note: When you go to select the service locations, if you see an allco logo next to the organization’s name that this agency has users on allco. You can also filter for these organizations as well with your In Network toggle.
Explore Location, Program and Service Details by clicking the surrounding box
Select See More to explore additional services offered at that service location
If you come across another need that a community member has, add that need to the community member's profile
Once you've identified the organization you want to send this community member to, select it.
One the summary page, select the **Need** that this referral is for, and indicate the Service that this organization provides that will support this need. If there is not a service that best matches your need, but you know this agency provides a service, select "no service identified"
Add a direct contact (optional).

Add a note to help the organization you're referring to
Check **privacy** settings and information for accuracy.
Mark this referral for follow-up if necessary
Send the **Referral** to the agency.
